Remember handy clinical signs of keratoconus at the SLIT LAMP

  • Fleischer Ring
  • Vogt’s Striae
  • Stromal thinning
  • Prominent Corneal Nerves – easy with dark iris
  • Anterior Stromal Scars
    • Sometimes due to contact lenses
    • Sometimes due to CXL
  • Sometimes a little bumpy on the corneal surface
  • Thin cross section helps with corneal profile
