Recent studies show that 68% of Generation X (born 1965 – 1980) have been putting off regular eye tests, leaving them at risk of early blindness. Australians of this generation, and not only this generation, have fallen into the stigma that if their vision is fine, they don’t require an eye test. This stigma is now a risk of missing early detection of diseases such as Glaucoma, a leading cause of IRREVERSIBLE blindness worldwide. One reason why one in two people with Glaucoma are undiagnosed!
