What We Do

What We Do

Welcome to one of the first practices in Australia to have a dedicated myopia control clinic for children with progressive myopia. Mark is one of the few practitioners in Australia to be awarded a Fellow of International Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.

Our Myopia specialist equipment: Ocular biometry (HD OCT axial length), latest ocular surface measurements from Medmont Meridia, and 3D modelling of orthokeratology contact lenses are the backbone of myopia management; is used to diagnose, track progression and create a treatment plan for myopia.

Our optometrists are therapeutically qualified which means we can treat eye infections and other issues which require prescription eye drops.  We strive to be the highest qualified optometrists possible to give you the best possible care.

Mark is a CASA Credentialed Optometrist (ARN 1056131) to service pilots and air traffic controllers. Please advise our front of practice staff if you require certification as a larger appointment will be required to get this done in one visit. We have direct CASA portal access and can upload all clinical findings at time of visit for a rapid turnaround time.

Not only do we lead the way in the Optometry space, but you may find yourself interested in one of our clinical trials. Dr Hinds’ new company, Ophthalmic Trials Australia, leads the way for ophthalmic clinical trials in Australia to help in the fight against ocular diseases. If you have any ocular diseases, especially where current treatments are not suitable, please do talk to one of our Optometrists about your interest in participating. If you want to learn more, please see here for details: Ophthalmic Trials Australia.
