Keeping in date with our local areas of Newstead, Fortitude Valley, New Farm and Brisbane City. Our fashion eye collections have been carefully selected from the world’s leading eyewear designers and manufacturers ensuring our customers will find a frame or sunglass to suit their individuality and budget. We use lenses from Maui Jim/Zeal, Carl Zeiss, Opticare, Hoya, Nikon, Shamir and Sola.
Each pair of glasses is tailor made to each patient and their specific requirements, very rarely from just one brand, one design or one company. UV protection and blue light blocking coatings can be built onto most spectacle lenses to give your eyes the best possible protection. This does not necessarily mean the cost will be more, our health fund package lenses have thinner, lighter lenses with UV protection already built in.
We have sunglasses and spectacles for every occasion, whether they’re for sport, fashion, work/education, leisure or hobbies there will always be a pair for you.
Our specialist Rudy Project lenses for the sporting enthusiasts are also available and great for cycling, golf, running, triathlon and events where you want your actual spectacle prescription in the blade itself. A very popular iteration of these lenses are the transitions lenses, where the lens tint becomes darker with exposure to sun light and vice versa. Sunglasses and Specs in 1!
We are NOT a part of any buying group or franchise store, so we selectively and carefully choose the optimum product for the best result for every patient. We custom-eyes, every eye, every time. If you don’t find a frame you like here, you are free to purchase a frame from elsewhere and we can order a lens for them. This is with the exception of non-mouldable frames i.e. wooden frames, where it is significantly riskier for lenses to be fitted.
